How to verify an opportunity before you spend time on it
- Confirm the source is official or traceable
- Confirm the deadline and time zone
- Confirm the buyer or agency and a contact
- Confirm the category and scope fit your business
- Confirm mandatory eligibility and certifications
- Confirm the required registration portal
- Read all attachments and amendments
- Never pay an unknown party merely to access a supposed contract award
